What we light
Roofline.
Trees.
The whole
approach.
Most houses start with the roofline. The ones people slow down for add the trees and the walk. Every piece is cut to your house and hung on clips you can't see from the street.
- RooflinesThe line everyone sees, so it's the one we're most particular about. Every eave, peak, and dormer gets light cut to fit, so bulbs land evenly at the corners instead of bunching up or running short. Clips go on the shingle edge or gutter lip. No staples, no holes.
- Trees & shrubsWrapped trunks, lit canopies, and the hedges along the foundation. This is the part that takes a house from "nice" to the one the neighborhood drives past on purpose.
- Wreaths & garlandLit wreaths on the door and windows, garland on columns, railings, and the porch. The details that read from the street at 5pm.
- Pathways & drivewaysLights along the walk and the driveway edge, so the whole approach is lit, not just the roof floating in the dark.
How it goes
From your call
to lights on.
No packages, no waiting weeks for a quote. You see the design on your own house before we hang a bulb.
Design visit
We come out, usually within a day or two of your call, and design it on the iPad on a photo of your house. You see the roofline lit, pick the colors, and get one flat price. You go on the schedule right then.
Installed that week
Most homes are installed the same week as the design visit. Commercial-grade LED, hidden clips, timers set, and everything tested at dusk before we pull out of the driveway.
Lit all season
Anything goes dark, text us and we fix it, no charge. In January it all comes down and goes to our shop, labeled, until next year. Nothing in your garage.
What it costs
Most homes start around $800. What moves the number is how much roofline you have, how tall the house is, and how many trees or entry features you want lit. Every quote is one flat, all-in price: design, install, a season of service, takedown, and storage. The lights stay with us, so there's nothing to buy, nothing to store, and worn strands get replaced at our cost.
The free design visit gets you an exact number on the spot. See what most homes pay for the ranges by house size, or send your address and we'll set one up.
Questions about home installs
Can you just do the roofline?
Yes. Roofline-only is our most common job, and on most houses it's the part that makes the difference from the street. You can always add trees, wreaths, or the walkway next season.
Can you hang lights I already own?
No. We only install our own commercial-grade product. Store-bought strands fail in the cold, and we can't stand behind something we didn't supply. Ours stay ours. If a strand goes, replacing it is our problem, not yours.
Do I need an outdoor outlet?
One working exterior outlet is usually enough. We run the cords, set the timer, and keep everything off the walkway. If you don't have one, tell us at the design visit and we'll work it out.
What about a three-story house or a steep roof?
Yes. Height and pitch change the price, not the answer. We'll see it at the design visit and the flat price will reflect it. No surprises on install day.
Do you light the back of the house too?
If you want it. Most people light what's seen from the street. If the backyard is where you host in December, we'll light that side too.
What happens in a nor'easter?
The product is commercial-grade and built for New England weather. If wind pulls a section loose, text us and we'll come re-hang it. That's what season-long service is for.
