What Fairfield houses need
Fairfield covers more ground than people expect. A cape in Stratfield and a center hall colonial on four acres in Greenfield Hill are the same town and nowhere near the same job. That is a large part of why we quote each house individually instead of publishing packages you have to squeeze into.
Southport is its own case. The village around the harbor has genuine antique houses, original clapboard, and slate, and it is a place where the wrong mounting leaves a mark that stays. Nothing there gets stapled, screwed, or nailed, and the mounting plan gets walked with you before install day. Down at the beach and through the Lanes the houses sit close together and take wind off the Sound, so a whole lit street ends up reading as one thing.
Greenfield Hill trees
Greenfield Hill has the best tree lighting opportunity in the county, and most houses up there never use it. The dogwoods and the mature specimens sitting out in front of a colonial are the single biggest visual upgrade available, more than adding another run of roofline.
Wrapped trunks and lit canopies are slow, careful work and they use a lot of product, so they move the price. On a house with real trees in front of it they are usually worth more than anything else on the list.

Design visit
We come out to Fairfield, usually within a day or two of your call, and design it on the iPad on a photo of your house. You see the roofline lit, pick the colors, and get one flat price. You go on the schedule right then.
Installed that week
Most homes are installed the same week as the design visit. Commercial-grade LED, hidden clips, timers set, and everything tested at dusk before we pull out of the driveway.
Lit all season
Anything goes dark, text us and we fix it, no charge. In January it all comes down and goes to our shop, labeled, until next year. Nothing in your garage.
What it costs in Fairfield

Most homes land between $800 and $3,500 for the season, and the number comes from how much roofline you have, how tall the house is, and how many trees and entry pieces you want lit. Every quote is one flat, all-in price covering design, installation, service all season, takedown in January, and storage.

Our house is in the Southport historic district. Any issue?
None from our side. Clips go on the shingle edge or gutter lip, and nothing is stapled, screwed, or nailed into an antique house. If your property has its own restrictions, tell us at the design visit and we will design inside them.
Are you actually local?
We are based in Bridgeport, next door. Fairfield is one of the closest towns we serve, which matters most for service calls in December when something goes dark and you want it fixed.
What does tree wrapping add to the price?
It is the biggest add after the roofline, because it is slow work and it uses a lot of product. On a Greenfield Hill property with mature trees out front it is usually the best money on the whole quote. You will see the roofline only number and the with trees number at the design visit and can pick.
