What Trumbull houses need
Trumbull is mostly postwar: colonials, capes, splits, and raised ranches built between the 1950s and the 1970s through Nichols and Long Hill, with newer and larger construction up in Tashua. That housing stock is genuinely good news on price. A split level or a raised ranch has a shorter, simpler roofline than a rebuilt colonial down on the shoreline, so a clean full front job here lands at the lower end of our range more often than anywhere else we work.
It also means the details matter more. When every house on the street has similar bones, the difference is whether the corners are clean, whether the peaks line up, and whether the entry and the walk are lit or just the roof.
Closest town to our shop
We are based in Bridgeport, so Trumbull is a short run up Route 25 or Main Street. That has nothing to do with the price and everything to do with service. If a section goes dark the week before Christmas, being ten minutes away is the difference between fixed and scheduled.
Takedown works the same way. It comes down in January and goes straight to our shop, labeled with your name, and nothing ends up in your garage.
How it goes
From your call
to lights on.
No packages and no waiting weeks for a quote. You see the design on your own house before we hang a bulb.
Design visit
We come out to Trumbull, usually within a day or two of your call, and design it on the iPad on a photo of your house. You see the roofline lit, pick the colors, and get one flat price. You go on the schedule right then.
Installed that week
Most homes are installed the same week as the design visit. Commercial-grade LED, hidden clips, timers set, and everything tested at dusk before we pull out of the driveway.
Lit all season
Anything goes dark, text us and we fix it, no charge. In January it all comes down and goes to our shop, labeled, until next year. Nothing in your garage.
What it costs in Trumbull
Pricing does not change by town. Most homes land between $800 and $3,500 for the season, and the number comes from how much roofline you have, how tall the house is, and how many trees and entry pieces you want lit. Every quote is one flat, all-in price covering design, installation, service all season, takedown in January, and storage.
See the full pricing breakdown for ranges by house size, or send your address and we will come out and give you an exact number.
Trumbull questions
I have a split level. Where does that land on price?
Usually at the lower end. Splits and raised ranches have shorter, simpler rooflines than a two story colonial, so the full front of the house often comes in near our starting price rather than in the middle of the range.
Is a smaller house even worth hiring out?
That is your call, and it depends on what a ladder in December is worth to you. The price covers the product, the install, fixing anything that goes dark, taking it down, and storing it. You are not buying lights and finding somewhere to keep them.
Can we start with just the roofline this year?
Yes, and that is how most people start. Your design and measurements stay on file, so adding trees, wreaths, or the walkway next season does not mean starting over.
