What Stamford houses need
Stamford is really two lighting markets. North of the Merritt you have acreage, tree cover, and houses set back far enough that the roofline alone can disappear. Down through Springdale, Glenbrook, and Westover the streets are tighter, the house is close to the road, and the roofline does nearly all the work.
Housing stock runs the whole range, from 1950s ranches and splits through 1980s colonials to recent rebuilds out on Shippan Point. We measure and design each one rather than pricing off square footage, because frontage and roof geometry drive the number, not house size.
North Stamford is darker than people realize
The roads over the Merritt have no streetlights and heavy tree cover, and houses commonly sit a hundred feet or more off the road. A perfect roofline on a house nobody can see from the street is wasted money, and we would rather tell you that than sell it to you.
On those properties the design usually starts with the approach: the driveway, the trees framing the front of the house, and the entry. Then the roofline sits on top of a property that is already lit, instead of floating alone in the dark.

to lights on.
No packages and no waiting weeks for a quote. You see the design on your own house before we hang a bulb.
Design visit
We come out to Stamford, usually within a day or two of your call, and design it on the iPad on a photo of your house. You see the roofline lit, pick the colors, and get one flat price. You go on the schedule right then.
Installed that week
Most homes are installed the same week as the design visit. Commercial-grade LED, hidden clips, timers set, and everything tested at dusk before we pull out of the driveway.
Lit all season
Anything goes dark, text us and we fix it, no charge. In January it all comes down and goes to our shop, labeled, until next year. Nothing in your garage.
What it costs in Stamford

Stamford questions
Our house is way back off the road in North Stamford. Is it worth it?
Worth it, but designed differently. If the street cannot see the roofline there is no point paying for all of it. We would light the drive, the trees framing the house, and the entry first, then add roofline where it actually shows. You will see both versions at the design visit.
We are on Shippan. Does the wind change anything?
Raise it when you call, and we will go over the exposed elevations at the design visit. We use commercial-grade product rather than retail strands. If a run does come loose in a December storm, text us and we come re-hang it at no charge.
Do you do condos or apartment buildings?
We work on single family homes. If you are in a condo or an association and the board is looking at lighting the common areas or the entrance, that is a different conversation and worth a call.
