What Stratford houses need
Stratford runs smaller and older than the Gold Coast towns, which suits our pricing well. Capes, colonials, and bungalows through Paradise Green and Putney have straightforward rooflines, and those are exactly the jobs that land at the lower end of our range. A clean job on a cape reads just as well from the street as a bigger one does.
Oronoque is the exception, with larger newer colonials near the golf course that carry more roofline and usually more trees worth lighting. Out on Lordship the housing is older and smaller again, and the constraint there is weather rather than architecture.
Lordship takes real weather
Lordship sits out on the water with almost nothing between it and the Sound. Wind through December, salt in the air, and storms that hit the peninsula before they hit anywhere else in town. Retail strands and light duty clips do not last a season out there.
That is one of the practical reasons we supply the product rather than hanging what you bought. We are the ones who have to come back when something fails, so it is our problem to specify something that holds, and our cost to replace it when it does not.

Design visit

We are in Lordship. Will the lights survive the wind?
We use commercial-grade product rather than retail strands, which is the difference that matters most out there, and the exposed elevations get talked through at the design visit. If something does come loose, text us and we come re-hang it, no charge. That is what season-long service is for.
Our house is a small cape. Is that too small a job?
No. A cape front is a straightforward job and it usually comes in near our starting price. Smaller houses look sharp lit, because there is nowhere for sloppy corners to hide.
How fast can you get here if something goes out?
We are in Bridgeport, so Stratford is one of the closest towns we cover. Service on anything we installed is included all season and there is no charge for it.
