What Weston houses need

Weston has no downtown at all. No shopping center, no strip, nothing. What it has is two acre minimum zoning and a lot of trees, which produces colonials, farmhouses, and contemporaries sitting well back on private wooded lots at the end of long driveways.

The result is that almost nobody sees your house except you, your neighbors, and whoever drives your road. That is not a reason to skip it. It is a reason to design it for the two viewpoints that matter: the approach up your own driveway, and the stretch of road your house actually faces.

No streetlights, and that matters

Like Easton next door, most Weston roads have no streetlights and there is no commercial lighting anywhere to bleed in. On a December evening your house is genuinely the only lit thing for a stretch, which means whatever you light reads far more strongly than it would in a denser town, and whatever you skip disappears completely.

It also means the drive matters. On a two acre lot the trip from the road to your front door is part of the experience, and lighting it is usually worth more than adding another run of roofline.

How it goes

From your call
to lights on.

No packages and no waiting weeks for a quote. You see the design on your own house before we hang a bulb.

  1. Design visit

We come out to Weston, usually within a day or two of your call, and design it on the iPad on a photo of your house. You see the roofline lit, pick the colors, and get one flat price. You go on the schedule right then.

  2. Installed that week

Most homes are installed the same week as the design visit. Commercial-grade LED, hidden clips, timers set, and everything tested at dusk before we pull out of the driveway.

  3. Lit all season

Anything goes dark, text us and we fix it, no charge. In January it all comes down and goes to our shop, labeled, until next year. Nothing in your garage.

What it costs in Weston

Pricing does not change by town. Most homes land between $800 and $3,500 for the season, and the number comes from how much roofline you have, how tall the house is, and how many trees and entry pieces you want lit. Every quote is one flat, all-in price covering design, installation, service all season, takedown in January, and storage.

See the full pricing breakdown for ranges by house size, or send your address and we will come out and give you an exact number.

Weston questions

Nobody really sees our house. Why bother?

Most Weston customers do it for the arrival, not for the street. Coming up a lit driveway to a lit house in December is the whole point on a lot this size. If the road matters to you too, we will design for both and show you the difference.

Can you wrap the trees along the driveway?

Yes, and on a Weston property it is usually the best money on the quote. It is slow work and it uses a lot of product, so it moves the price, but it changes the property more than anything else on the list.

How far in advance should we book?

Install dates go in the order requests come in, so booking earlier is the only thing that improves your date. September and early October are comfortable.
